Dallas was one of five dogs dumped at the Downey Shelter after her elderly owners decided they did not want them anymore. We rescued three of the five. Dallas is 3 years old and is full grown at 9 lbs. She came in filthy, flea ridden and unkempt. Her entire coat needed to be shaved off when she was under anesthesia to be spayed. We currently have Dallas in foster care and she is doing fantastic. She is very playful with toys and other dogs. She is housebroken, sleeps in her bed at night no issues and is very house savvy. Its obvious she was an inside doggie at some point. She is a hypoallergenic dog and will need regular grooming appointments so keep this in mind when budgeting for a dog. Dallas will be best placed in a house with a yard environment. Kids can be 8 and older. She is not suited for apartment/rental living. Seems to be ok with cats. No out of state adoptions.
